How do I register?

How do I fundraise?

When you register you will automatically be set up with your own individual Grassrootz fundraising page. Your fundraising page should be linked to fundraise for our charity page: https://pointtopinnacle2024.grassrootz.com/cb4bc

Can we fundraise as a team?

Yes! You sure can. Set up your individual Grassrootz fundraising page first.

During the set up process it will ask you if you’d like to fundraise as a team, you can choose your team or set up a new one with your friends/family/ group there.

All fundraising by the individuals in your team will contribute to the team total!

How do I find out more about the event?

Head to www.pointtopinnacle.com.au to download the ‘event info booklet’ which has detailed race and event info plus lots of handy hints and tips.

What’s the itinerary?

Saturday 16^th November
‍Arrive in Hobart

‍Sunday 17^th November
‍7:00 am: Race starts!
The Point to Pinnacle starts and ends at Wrest Point Casino.
12:30pm – 2pm: Team CB4BC post race event.

How do we get back down the hill?

Buses will take you from the top of Mt Wellington back down to Wrest Point following the race.

What if I don't make it all the way up?

Yes you will! But if for some reason you need to withdraw during the race, head to the nearest drink station for transport.

What do I wear?

The weather on the day can vary from hot to snow and everything in between, so we suggest checking www.pointtopinnacle.com.au to make sure you’ve got everything covered.

You can download the official “event booklet” that has all the detailed information on the race, event info, what to wear on the day, what to put in your bag that meets you at the top of the mountain and lots of other handy tips and information.

You don’t need special hiking shoes, your usual running trainers will suit.

You can pack a gear bag with a warm puffa jacket, beanie + gloves to meet you at the top to keep warm after the race!

Can I get merch?

We will have some awesome Team CB4BC merch available to pre-order and collect in Tassie. Watch this space!

Why are we doing this?

We’re on a mission to raise funds for vital brain cancer research.

Survival rates have barely improved in 30 years.
Brain cancer kills more kids in Australia than any other disease.
It kills more people under 40 than any other cancer.
80% of patients will die within 5 years of diagnosis.

These are fathers, mothers, children, brothers, sisters and friends.

We’re determined to change this.

We want to see a future where no family has to lose someone they love to brain cancer.

All funds raised support the brilliant research minds at The Brain Cancer Centre.

Together we can make a difference.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I understand that if I register for the Point to Pinnacle 2023 using exclusive early entry code 2023CB4BC that I will automatically be registered for a separate fundraising page through Grassrootz, to fundraise for CB4BC
I understand that if my application to join Team CB4BC is successful, my entry fees for Point to Pinnacle, together with travel, accommodation, meals and associated costs to and from the Point to Pinnacle event are at my own cost.
I agree to adhere to the terms and conditions of Point to Pinnacle race registration and Grassrootz fundraising platform.
I agree that I will be participating in Point to Pinnacle at my own risk and I waive, release and discharge CB4BC and its officers, employees, contractors, volunteers or agents involved in Point to Pinnacle from all claims or causes of action that I may have arising from any injury, loss or damage of any kind that I may suffer including personal injury, illness or death and/or loss or damage to any property (in so far as this does not breach the provisions of the relevant Australian Consumer Law) arising either directly or indirectly out of my attendance at or participation in Point to Pinnacle.
I consent to the free use of my name and image in any social media, broadcast or and print by CB4BC in relation to Point to Pinnacle.
I confirm that all information that I provide to CB4BC in connection with my registration is accurate, complete, and not otherwise designed to mislead, defraud, or deceive any person; and that a successful application to join Team CB4BC will not be transferrable to another person.
